&lt;p&gt;2 TBSP Canola Oil&lt;br /&gt;1 1/2 cup Yellow Onions, julienne sliced&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;2 cups Kale, chopped&lt;br /&gt;10 cups Water&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;2 cups Barley, dry&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;2/3 cups Goat Cheese&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;1 tsp Salt&amp;nbsp;&lt;br /&gt;1/4 tsp Black Pepper&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;&lt;span style="color:#0080c3;"&gt;&lt;em&gt;Directions:&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Heat oil in a pot. Cook onions until caramelized.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Stir in kale and cook just until wilted. Set aside.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Bring water up to a boil. Stir in barley and reduce to a simmer. Cook until barley is very tender.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Once barley is cooked, stir in reserved onion/kale mixture, goat cheese, salt and pepper. Continue cooking until heated through.&lt;/li&gt;
