MedsYourWayTM is not available to all members. Check your plan materials or ask your benefits administrator to see if you have this program.

You may be able to pay less for your prescription drugs with a new drug discount card benefit program.

MedsYourWay is a program that works with your Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Mexico health plan pharmacy benefit to automatically search for and find lower costs for your eligible medicines.*

Here’s how it works:

  1. Have your prescription filled at a participating in-network retail pharmacy. You can find in-network pharmacies and review your estimated drug costs by logging in to your Blue Access for MembersSM (BAMSM) or MyPrime leaving site icon account.
  2. When you pick up your prescription, simply show your BCBSNM member ID card to the pharmacist.
  3. You’ll pay the lower available price. And what you pay will count toward your plan deductible and/or yearly out-of-pocket maximum amount.
*MedsYourWay is not insurance. It is a drug discount card program that compares the drug discount card price for an eligible medication (up to a 90-day retail supply based on plan benefits) at participating in-network retail pharmacies to the member’s benefit plan cost share amount and then applies the lower available price. Eligible medications are subject to change, and prescription prices may vary by location. Not all retail pharmacies participate with MedsYourWay. MedsYourWay is administered by Prime Therapeutics, LLC, a separate pharmacy benefit management company contracted by BCBSNM to provide pharmacy benefit management and related other services. In addition, contracting pharmacies are contracted through Prime Therapeutics. The relationship between BCBSNM and contracting pharmacies is that of independent contractors. BCBSNM, as well as several independent Blue Cross and Blue Shield Plans, has an ownership interest in Prime Therapeutics. MyPrime.com is an online resource offered by Prime Therapeutics, LLC.
